During the conference we will talk about:
• Websites development methodology (BEM) that was born in Yandex, its beginning and growth
• Current state and future of BEM-platform development
• Open-source tools for frontend developers built in Yandex and the ways of client code, graphics and development time optimization
• Writing client JavaScript using BEM-terms (independent blocks, blocks, consisting of other blocks, blocks’ libraries)
• BEM-templates (syntax, semantics, optimization and compiling into productive JavaScript)
• Reducing size of static files download while frequently releasing
• Useful tools to download static files by url with hash not with version
• Techniques for static resources diff-updates
• Lifehacks of writing good quality javascript-code
• Frontend testing technologies we use and develop
Conference language is Russian, however we organize translation of questions into Latvian and English languages.
